Following a survey by an arboricultural consultant, a number of the Ash trees in the wood have been found to have Ash dieback.
South Gloucestershire tree officers and our friends at Avon Wildlife Trust are concerned as the affected trees will have to be felled.

The consultant tree surgeon has recommended that the worst trees are removed and we have regretfully carried out the removal of two affected trees today. We are working with an ecologist to prepare and extensive planting programme to replace any stock that has to be removed.
